mc callum was not at his best at 175, although he was still capable of giving toney a fight.

l agree with maurice, Georges Carpentier was the bigger man, and activity level and aggression would have made it difficult for the counter punching McCallum to overcome.

Carpentier by decision.

The Orchid Man vs the Bodysnatcher! Good fight here. McCallum like Carpentier moved up in weight during their respective careers. l believe that Carpentier was one of the finest all round fighters arguably in boxing history fighting the very toughest opposition. McCallum would have his moments in the fight, but Carpentier would win the decision.
