How do you think Roberto Cammarelle would do if he went pro

l believe if Cammarelle went pro, he has the combination of size, boxing ability & punching power to win at least one of the 4 Heavyweight 'World' titles. It would not exactly be difficult for him at the moment, given the sorry state that the Heavyweight division is in - although having said that, it has picked up a little, what with Vitali coming back & claiming a World title.

However.

Cammarelle is 28, & if he has any aspirations of winning a World title in the pro ranks, he should look at turning pro sooner rather than later. He would be a massive attraction as a Pro, but l am not even sure if he would want to go switch codes. As a member of Italy is police force, he is very well looked after indeed - they allow him as much time off as he needs to prepare for competitions an box. He is also paid a salary by the Italian police force, so in effect, they r paying him to be a full time boxer as an amateur. This might be enough of an enticement to keep him in the Amateur code, but if a big enough & attractive enough offer comes along for Roberto Cammarelle to turn pro, u just never know.
