Generally, when we see small guys move up to a competitive weight class as Pac-Man did we usually see the destruction of the smaller guy. Pavlic-Hopkins, De la Hoya-Hopkins. So now is Manny that good? At the age of 29 he is old for his division, but 29 is not 35 which is De la Hoya is age. The Golden boy is putting life back in the boxing world, look at the people he has as partners, and who they are willing to fight. Next Mosley-Margarito, B-Hop, and Mosley are on that team. So is Manny that good and what is your insight as to Golden Boy productions.

De La Hoya got slower as he got older. l knew Pacman was gonna win. He is still young and his speed is incredible.

Manny is a storm. But Oscar is best days r behind him. Though l think it would have been a better fight, l think the results would have been the same. Oscar always had trouble with speed. Speed is what killed him in the Mosely fight, he barely squeeked by in the Whitaker fight, & he was defeated in the Mayweather fight.

The X-factor is that Pac-man has speed & Power. He also has a style that is underestimated, because he fights like an animal, so many fighters think that if they go in there, they can out smart him & out box him. But Great fighters like Eric Morales, & Barrera learned to their shock, that the man has controlled chaos. He knows exactly what he is doing, & ur lungs will virtually explode trying to keep him off of you. He is a true fighter to his very core. Thats why he beat Barrera twice & Morales twice because everyone thought it was a fluke, but they simply did not get it. But Dela Hoya got it, thats why he dared not go out for the 9th. There is a reason why his opponents get tatooed. It is because he throws fast heavy combinations, & the opponent seems to never see the third shot in the combo, because the first two shots seem to be heavy disguises for the third shot. And they always look to their corner like ''what was that?'' Manny is the Honest to God truth.

The only person that can give him trouble is Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather Cat-like reflexes & incredible accuracy can really pose a problem for the Pac-Man. But Manny is Heart, Stamina, Speed, & punching power can be the winning combination that gives Mayweather his first defeat.

Manny is certainly a storm, & Oscar is certainly not in his prime, but he is still game, he fought for 12 rounds & won a decision over an awkward opponent in Steve Forbes who just gave hot prospect Andre Berto a rough time. Last year he was beating Floyd Mayweather for 6 rounds before abandoning his jab.

So people r trying to argue that in 7 month he has gotten that bad? that slow? as if, if thats the case if it was all Oscar is deterioration then that is the fastest decline of a great fighter l have ever heard of in boxing & would have to assume that if that is the case then Oscar must have Parkinsons or some other debilitating disease.

Ring magazine polled 20 sports writers, fighters & trainers on who they thought would win the fight, only 2 picked Pacuiao to win & both by decision. Almost everyone else picked Oscar to KO Manny with a couple saying Oscar by easy decision.

If Manny just flurried & ran the whole fight & took a decision maybe u could question it a little, but he didnt, he stood there moved side to & side & banged away & smashed the shit out of Oscar DeLaHoya forcing him to quit on his stool.

Did u see the look on Oscars face between rounds, he was shocked, he was scared, there was a look of ''what the fuck did l just run into'' on his face.

Oscars plan was to trap Manny on the ropes like he did Mayweather & bang away, Manny proved to have excellent, awesome footwork & his back barley every hit the ropes & when it did he was off them almost immediately.

The general conception was that Manny would get knocked out possibly hurt by the bigger,stronger Oscar, & instead he battered Oscar like no one before him & forced him to quit on his stool.

Pretty fucking good for a guy who started his career at 107 & just recently jumped to 135 & then directly to 147 & fought the great DeLaHoya.

It does not matter if some biased or no nothing part time boxing fans dont give him credit, he pounded his credit all over Oscar is face & body.

Oscar is not seeing much from his left eye.

l think he is a little storm, but he just beat up on DLH.. he was in & out all night. Oscar showed his age & it was really embarrassing to watch.. he did nothing but walk into punches, which he would of never done when he was 29. l like how at the post fight press conference, Freddie Roach was asked if they would fight Antonio Margarito & he said ''we r brave, but we r not that brave!.. l would rather him fight Klitchsko than Margarito'' Freddie Roach was right to say Oscar didnt have it any more. but the young oscar would have beaten Manny.
