what can you say about Pacquiao-De La Hoya fight

that de la hoya should have never step in the ring with a man that can hits harder than a fast train. l am not sure what he was thinking but even a blind man could have called that fight.

Total Miss Match they say (De La Hoya will own PACMAN). well it turned out to be true (in a reverse method ) PACMAN stunned the GOLDEN BOY. l was like reading the story of David and Goliath. total miss match.

It was staged. Dela hoya was not that kind of fighter who just lets his gloves fall like that, after all those hard work and concentration he'd tolled himself of. make no mistake, l am a filipino.

the fight clearly showed that you can never under estimate a great fighter.
no matter what speculation outside the ring its still up to the fighters to show what they are made of.
pacquiao was the under dog. but he won. and thats why he is #1 pound for pound.
lesson learned: dont fight pacquiao. hehehe. just joking.

De La Who?

It is sad that DLH was TKOed at the end of the 8th.. but he is smart to accept the fact that 8 rounds of agonizing embarrassment is enough. He really is a smart fighter.
l was actually hoping that DLH would win... so MP will know who really r loyal to him... especially the politicians who r all over him inside the ring like they have business there. It is like a political rally. All the senatorial LOSERS were there... hehehe. Those guys r just using MP is popularity so they will be noticed & be recognized. Poor (very filthy rich) Manny. Being used by self absorbed people.

dela hoya FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY as long as theres money even if he lose. pacman you are great a one of a kind boxer. but a future dela hoya in making. MONEY is the root of all boxer dream

What can you say except tell it like it is.''lopsided as hell''. Been a De La Hoya fan since forever but time to hang the gloves up. Meaweather exposed his slowness and Pacquiao even more. Read that in one round he hit him 45 times versus 4 hits to him...''nothing left for you to prove Oscar, you were a great champion, stop before you end up like Ali and Freddie Roach!''

It was nothing like l expected. l thought Oscar was going to do more than that. Manny fought a great fight & did what he had to do. He showed good defense, offense, & footwork. Freddie really impressed me, & Manny as well. At first l thought Oscar was letting Pacquiao get his confidence up & giving people a show, since it is PPV & people paid $55 to watch it. l thought Oscar was waiting until the later rounds to KO Manny. In round 7, l was thinking, ''No, something is not right, Oscar would not let himself get tagged this much''. l can accept Oscar losing, but the fact is.he quit. l thought he would go out like a warrior. l was a HUGE Oscar fan, & seeing him quit like that, just disappointed me, as a fan. Obviously the Pacman fans got their money is worth, but not Oscar is people. We paid to see Oscar fight, not take a beating. But that stuff happens in boxing. This fight kind of reminded me of the Calzaghe/Jones fight. It was lopsided, & my 2 favorite fighters, were fighting southpaws, & taking a beating, like I've never seen before. It is really hard to watch ur favorite fighters take such a fall. But it happens to the best of them. At least Jones stuck it out until the end, but Oscar quitting like that, just showed that he does not have it anymore period. Now that Manny is won, everyone wants a piece of him, Mayweather, Hatton, maybe Margarito. l am looking forward to 2009. Best Wishes to Oscar if he retires, the boxing world will miss him.
