Easy, Pacman was a mutant blessed with super strength and speed.

Because Pac trained like a mad man & he stuck to the fight plan. He showed great discipline by keeping away from ODLH during the early rounds. although he was getting power shots in, he was not tempted to trade with oscar when he still felt that he still has power. if you've noticed pac just went from 20 punches to 30 - 40 - 50. it is not that accurate but the volume of punches increases just when ODLH was getting tired.

and even before arum said it was a mismatch in Pac is advantage.. l blogged about it already. hehe

Aside from Manny is blinding speed, he also used a new game plan against de la Hoya. He did not make use of he previous brawling style but instead stayed on the outside & outboxed de la Hoya.

Manny is accuracy is also a huge factor in this fight. He moved around de la Hoya throwing accurated punches to de la Hoya is head. Manny is punches have pinpoint accuracy that they even get past de la Hoya is cover.

l think during the first round, de la Hoya was already mentally beaten. By the time Manny landed connecting punches to de la Hoya is head, he just started to fold. As u may observe, de la Hoya was completely put in the defensive during the succeeding rounds. He was no longer throwing punches & was more concerned of protecting himself from Manny is beating.

Because DLH is washed up & no chance in hell to win this fight. He has not won a fight of relevance since damn near 1999 so Manny P. really did not have his hands full.

DLH just could not keep up with Manny. Manny controlled the fight by sticking to the game plan & by showing GREAT discipline. DLH just could not keep up with him & u already know he was not going to take risks to get a shot in on Manny 1)because Manny would've caught him much like the way he did in the 4th round & 2)DLH just does not have that Do or Die attitude anymore.

The difference-maker in this fight was ODLH is inability to react to Pac is attack. Pac could throw a punch before ODLH could react. It pleases me to no end to say that ODLH is washed up. He is the weakest link. Goodbye.
