No dout the Pacman.He is still in his prime and hungry.Do not get me wrong Floyd is one og the great ones but l do not think he has the Fire to win.

This is the fight that everyone wants to see; forget Hatton, he'd get blown to bits. Floyd vs. Manny is so intriuguing on so many levels; Pac is the better offensive fighter & Floyd is absolutely brilliant defensively. Pac would have to press & avoid Floyd is world-class counterpunches - he would have to draw Floyd out into the open - basically complete oppposite of his strategy against Oscar. This one would be one for the ages; the realist in me says Floyd by split decision but Manny won me over last night - Manny stops Floyd in the late rounds! now that would be something .

Correct me if l am wrong. Mayweather is already retired. No need for him to get out of retirement just to fight Manny Pacquiao. Well, a fight with Manny is a true fortune, but he will suffer the same like Dela Hoya. Just based on Mayweather fight with Dela Hoya, it ended in a scorecard. Dela Hoya almost suffered a knock out against Pacquiao. The fight has 4 more rounds. Surely they can study the way Pacquiao fights but inside the ring, Pacquiao is unpredictable. He is far more wiser boxer if u looked at his fight with Dela Hoya. He even stepped back away from Dela Hoya even when everybody thinks that he should have poured it all when Dela Hoya was cornered & cannot fight back. Definetely, Manny Pacquiao will not gamble for a toe to toe fight specially on the bigger fighter. He knows already the importance of his stage right now.

After Manny is performance vs De la Hoya, Manny seems to be the best candidate to win the fight ( if it happens ).

l got to pick Floyd, he is more accustomed to the weight, has fought bigger punchers, and Pacquiao has never fought a boxer with the defensive skill of Mayweather.

pacman will win! no doubt about it. pacman is totally the destroyer,

l will have to choose mayweather. Mayweather is no DE la hoya so dO not compare he has all these advantages the hight, the speed, the reach the perfect defense that no one can not seem to penetrate. however mayweather lacks Ko power so he would win in a Ud. Also if you look closley when The pac man swings its off balance he stumbles forward and mayweather will counter him all night. The pacman is way stronger than Mayweather but mayweather will just beat him by the cards..

Mayweather would win because he has more experience at welterweight, speed and skill.

After yesterday is fight with Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao will win against Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Two things to remember:

1) Floyd Mayweather Jr. has not really faced great fighters in the same way that Manny Pacquiao has one after another dispatched Mexican greats Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez (not once but twice; thrice with Morales) & now Oscar De La Hoya.

2) Manny is his most dangerous & focused when he is the underdog. There were glaring similarities between Manny is first fight with Barrera & yesterday is fight with De La Hoya. Both De La Hoya & Barrera were like deer caught in headlights.

So in a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight at welterweight or junior welterweight, l will wager on the underdog because that underdog is Pacquiao & Pacquiao is at his best when the whole world thinks he has no chance to win.

Mayweather is the greatest defensive fighter l have seen in my lifetime. He just waits for his opponent to mess up and lands devestating blows. l love Pacquiao, as he inspires millions of my own people, but l just dont see him beating Mayweather.

l really wouldnt care who won because it would be a great fight but if l had to choose l gotta go with mayweather. dude defensive is the best ever. yes he is retired but its not like he retired on the downside of his career.. he retired the best.. & l doubt he is just eatin burgers all day so dont think he doesnt have it anymore..

somebody said mayweather doesnt have KO power.. in some cases that could be true but Hatton head is still ringing when PBF clocked him into the ropes.

Pacman is great no doubt.. but l think floyd is D & his counter punches r too much & too fast..but if he can get that straight left thru his defense it will be iteresting..

but l jus hope the fight happens.. l a fan of both.. boxing needs this fight badly..
