i'm going to start soon for self defense, and more upper body strength (my arms arnt that small but they ar not as big as l would want them to be)

and l would like to know the benefits of boxing

and about how long does it take to get the hang of it and start seeing results?

And the benefits are great you will be in the best shape of your life and feel good about yourself because you know how to fight also you will learn how to remain calm in fighting situations. But as far as your strength boxers do not really do alot of weight work mostly just push ups and pull ups and arm curls . But You will get ripped
