Is it more embarassing for a boxer to get KO'd or receive a TKO?

TKO, beacuse you still know that you lost

TKO, it means you sucked up the entire time and left yourself open. plus it hurts

A KO. If it is TKO then that boxer shows toughness by continuing to fight until someone has to step in.

l guess it depends. if its in the first few round then id say a KO. if he/she is bleeding badly but wanting to keep fighting, like in rocky then a TKO is kinda badass l think.

depends if the knockout is just horrible the KO.
but if its that the fighter just could not keep up then TKO.

on the other hand if a fight is hyped so much''dream match''
then you throw in the towel early its worse.

For example David Banks when he got KO'd by Miranda.

l think its more embarrassing when u get KO'd after not putting up much of a fight he u go out swinging and u fought hard no one ever looks down upon u , however ur u just get knock down and take the easy way out thats just wrong

That depends on who is throwing the punches. There is a big difference between being KO ed by Thomas Hearns or Mike Tyson & being KOed by PeeWee Herman.

It is not embarrassing to lose a boxing match to a better fighter, but it is embarrassing to fail to utilize ur talent to the best of ur ability. If u put forth an inferior effort & lose because of ur own short comings, u should be embarrassed, but if u give ur all & the ref stops the fight, or u wake up & the fight is over, u have nothing to feel self conscientious about. It takes a certain amount of bravery that demands respect anytime a man or woman steps into the ring & squares off against another, there is no reason to be overly critical of one who loses with honor. It is only when one dishonor is him/her self with a failure to put for their best efforts that shame enters the ring.

Getting flash KO'd is more embarrasing because it can happen to any fighter, even if you are the better fighter. Can you say upset of the year?

Most of the time a TKO is a one-sided fight because the better fighter is winning. Not embarrassing for the loser if you lost to a better fighter.
