l just seen on doghouseboxing.com that floyd is gonna be sitting ringside dec 6 & he stated that he wants the winner of pacman vs oscar in 2009..if pacman wins it might be an interesting bout between pacman vs floyd...but we dont need another oscar vs floyd sparring session!

Wow thats really disappionting news l was hoping Floyd would come out of retirement to fight a Welterweight either Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, Joshua Clottey.

But deep down l knew he was going to come out of retirement for Pacquaio a naturally smaller guy. Low risk High Reward. if thats the case l hope he stays retired. But l also know he wont im sure before its all said & done he will have a rematch with De La Hoya & another with Hatton in the U.K. l also see him have a fight with a fading Mosley & the smaller Paquiao.

Obvisouly Paquaio could defintly make any fight exciting but l still dont like this match up it proves nothing other then boxing fans will buy fights we shouldnt. Depending on how Paquiao does against Oscar maybe it will be worth wild we will see.

l also heard about that news. If Pacquiao will win the match over dela Hoya, thare is a big chance that we might see a Pacquiao VS Mayweather fight. Some said that Mayweather will be back at the ring if he will face Pacman because of the huge amount involve.

Depending about the amount of $$$ involved, nobody is really ever retired, least of all Floyd. l never took Mayweather is retirement seriously, but then again l never considered Floyd a serious welter weight either. l expect if the money is right, Floyd is interested.

This is why l never considered Floyd a great fighter even though l respect his skills tremendously. The Welterweight division is loaded with talent right now & Floyd could've been the Sugar Ray Leonard of his era but instead he chose to retire rather than face guys like Margarito, Cotto, Williams, Masley, or Clottey. Now when there finally is talk of a comeback it is against the De La Hoya-Pacquiao winner, which will really prove nothing either way. l am rather disappointed in Floyd because he has such brilliant skills & l really feel like he is cheating the public by not testing them against the best Welters.

That would be a true superfight, Floyd vs. Manny. #1 vs. #2 P4p fighters in the world going at it. Normally, l have no rooting interest in a ODLH or M Pac fight, but l am hoping for a Pac win to set up Mayweather vs. Pacqiou, for what will likely be all the money in the world, plus 50 cents.

If Floyd truly loves the sport of boxing, he would come back and clean out his division. l believe he has what it takes to save the sport of boxing, but l think that his love for money is stronger than his love of boxing, as is the case with many of today is boxers.
