Apollo won but Rocky got the movie contract.

Apollo won a split decision and famously stated there ai not going to be no rematch which he obviously backed out on and thus Rocky 2 was born.

The plot called for Apollo to win in Rocky 1 because they were already preparing for Rocky 11 where Balboa will have his sweet revenge. Yes, it is showbiz and purely entertainment.

''The Italian stallion'' Rocky Balboa KO'd Creed at the end of the fifteenth round in their re-match, he went on to defend his title ten times, until Clubber Lang smashed him inside two rounds. Again Rocky got revenge with a KO win.
Creed made a comeback but was killed by world amateur champion ''The siberian ball'' Ivan Drago, Rocky sought revenge for his old sparring partner & decided to fight the cold war all by himself by travelling to Russia to face the newly named ''death from above''. Rocky won by KO in the last seconds of the last round.
Rocky was forced to retire with brain damage in Rocky five, but 16 years later, in 2006, the brain damage miraculously cleared up & Rocky made a comeback to face new world champion Mason ''The line'' Dixon, Balboa lost on a split points decision, then announced his retirement for good.

l hope he makes a comeback, because the Rocky films r better than watching the current crop of crap that takes to the ring these days.
Come on Stallone, get the scripts ready for Rocky 7, 8 ,9......
