Dream fight 15 rounds in their prime.

l have to give this one to Johnson who was a giant rather than Holyfield who was really a cruiser weight.

If u go thru my questions u will find that Johnson reigned supreme in one of the worst heavyweight era`s ever & was soundly defeated by a overgrown cowboy who didn`t take up boxing till he was 30. Nevermind losing to Marvin Hart of all people. Holyfield would of destroyed the man in much the same fashion as he did Buster Douglas only Buster was a superior fighter compared to Johnson.Buster won his championship from the ''Baddest Man on the Planet'' Johnson defeated a 165 lb 5ft 7in fighter. Big whoop.

Jack Johnson was from an era where going 15 rounds wasnt even half the fight, a bit like how we look at boxers today going 5 rounds & calling it the middle of the fight, Johnson would easily last 15 rounds but Holyfield has great skill to match Johnson, however, simply due to the difference in eras l think Johnson would win, he could move in & out & avoid punches, then turn agressive in later rounds, l think Holyfield would stand his ground but Johnson would comfortabally win a 15 round U.Decision.

l believe johnson was too quick for evander, but jack wo not put him away, so johnson by close but unanimous decision.

Jack Johnson was about as good a big man as the heavyweight division ever produced. Holyfield is a legitimate top then all time great in his own right, but a small heavyweight. l think the size difference would be enough for Johnson to equal Lennox Lewis or Riddick Bowe is efforts and edge Holyfield.

Holyfield lost to Lewis & Bowe because they were tall with long jabs & Holyfield was unable to counter punch effectively, its hard to counter a much taller fighter with a much longer reach then yourself. And he lost to the rest because he was out of his prime & much too old.

Jack Johnson gave up an inch in height & 4'' in reach, he may outweigh Holyfield by a bit but it was never weight that bothered Commander Vander.

Holyfield would counter Johnson from a distance & beats him to the punch inside & knock him out in the middle rounds.

Although It would be a battle until Holyfield knocked him out, Johnson might make it the distance but Holyfield would take it by unanimous decision.

In his prime stamina was not an issue with Vander either. He went 15 rounds with Qawi & looked good doing it.

l have to laugh when people think Jack Johnson was a giant. He was above average size FOR HIS TIME. In reality, he stood just a little over 6'1'' & weighed about 200lbs. Holyfield carried 208-212 well enough to bang with Lennox Lewis & Riddick Bowe. Though he never really beat Lennox he did hang in there & prove that he can FIGHT.

Holyfield is the complete boxer. He only lacks the One Punch Power. Even still, he can catch u right & finish you. That depends on how well an opponent takes a punch.

Johnson was great but he is a bit overrated for being the First Black champion. He WAS one of the best for a very long time. That changed after 1960. l laugh even harder when people compare Johnson to Muhammad ALI. At BEST he was always a Poor man is Larry Holmes.

Again, he WAS a master boxer but against one dimentional Plodders during his time. Those fighters knew NOTHING about defense. Holyfield knows nearly Everything about defense. Johnson is style would simply be ILL suited for fighters after Joe Louis. Even if he could make some adjustments he would still have his hands full in today is boxing.

Again, people complare Johnson to ALI. They had more in common OUT of the ring than IN it. Jack could never match Muhammad is hand speed or foot work. He loses every round enroute to a TKO loss in round 13 or a near shut-out in 15.

Holyfield is too strong & busy for Johnson. Jack likes to take his time & set the pace for the fight. He could do that against the fighters of his era because none of them knew anything about defense.

Evander would be the one to set the pace. He would keep Johnson busy with combinations. He would also hurt him early. Jack would never have time to set the pace or mount an attack, not the way he fought. He was TOO patient for his own good. Against a busy-body like Holyfield, that does not work.

Johnson would also learn that he can not hurt Holyfield. Evander has a solid chin & would take Johnson is best. Jack, on the other hand, would visit the canvas once in the middle rounds. He is smart & would figure out Holyfield enough to prevent a KO loss. However, by that time, he is well behind on points.

If Jack could train by today is standards he & Evander would be only a few pounds apart, nothing when you're talking about heavyweights. Still Evander would simply be too busy for him.

Both r in my TOP 12 but Holyfield is considerably higher for a good reason. He would suffer fewer losses against the other champions in the TOP 12.

This one depend on when the fight take place. If it take place back then, Jack Johnson would win because he is slicker but if it happen today Jack Johnson would be disqualified for excessive holding.
